”ergui minha choupana entre nuvens espessas.
que o pó do mundo apague as marcas dos meus passos.
não me pergunte como passa o tempo.
Flui o arroio à janela; à cabeceira, os livros.”
(Li Kiu-Ling, dinastia Tang, trad. décio pignatari)

During a twelve hour period I stayed in a tree and painted forty-seven different Oil paintings, based on Magic Squares. The Magic squares were translated into abstract paintings with a code that assigned numbers zero through nine different color combinations of red, white and black. I made myself a “Magic Square” guide which I used as blueprints for each painting.
